Yeah hopefully they stay there. I don't want those spoilt brats ruining over shooters. Like in Battlefield, people don't take it anywhere near as seriously and work together as a team to win. I blame youtube really, they get cod players to play like that. Ruins what fun COD was at first. Watch some trollers like General Minus on Youtube if you want to see how bad COD players can get though.

That's why I am still not convinced of buying one . I like variety and while Xbox have some really cool titles the PS3 or 3DS have way more appealing titles to me.

Shooterbox?

CoD games sells a lot more in 360 than PS3 but the gap is smaller today... seems like PS3 grower in the shooter terms while 360 grower in the others genre terms.

JRPG is PS3 dominant yet even when MS spent dozen of dollars to make the genre grow in 360.

There also isn't a go to title as a reason to buy the ps3/4. I mean I like Killzone (original) and was looking forward to it on the ps3, but it changed so much but KZ Shadowfall looks to be bringing back the alt fire feature I loved. I also liked the resistance series as well, but for SP and Co-op. Beyond that I really like Infamous and some other titles that aren't shooters at all. None of them individually make the PS3/4 a must buy for me, but all of that combined with what is "supposed to be" superior hardware/graphics (that worked out so well :-p) and free online ultimately made ps3 my go to choice. I don't even think I knew or considered the 360 when I first bought my ps3 in 2006.

shooters have a very big presence on the playstation, specially PS3. but the top 360 games are pretty much all shooters. GTA, Battlefield, RDR, CoD, gears, halo. there is AC but i think the PS3 has a bit more variety as it has GT, TLoU and metal gear (i dont consider these "shooters"), GoW, littlebigplanet. the presence of shooters is just much stronger on the xbox

If I'm not missing anything here that's the reason because Payday 2 will be released in both consoles.

Wait a second.  Hold up.  How do you know they didn't go to Microsoft first?  How do you know Sony didn't come to them with a deal?  Or that Sony offered a better deal?  Do you have a source or are you just making a major assumption?  When you call someone stupid, you might want to have your ducks in a row.  Regardless, I do know that Overkill stated that Sony " showed great interest and trust" in Overkill.  Perhaps that had something to do with it?

Gaming in general just has a shooter culture. 8 of the top 10 360 games are shooters, 6 for PS3. But of course he is right though, it's deeper entrenched on Xbox, thanks of course to Halo and XBL.
