lol at the polarizing poll results

I voted for 120 - 220k expecting Titanfall has a relatively big impact on sales. Although im predicting more close to 120 than 200.

Not going to lie, I've been getting absolutely wrecked on in Titanfall tonight to the point where I'm not having any fun and getting frustrated x_x

I was hoping this wouldn't happen. Oh well, it's the curse of all MP games I guess >_<

Stick in their yo_john

Man i was sucking so bad in warthunder when i started...so glad that im limited to dying 3 times in a 15min round in that game.

but alas recently i got a score f 4 kills - 2 deaths! Improvement is one game away!

The N4G one seemed pretty accurate xD

Fanboyism is strong

Agreed, so accurate.

Man I'm glad I've never been on N4G much...the things hear about that site lol.

I like Eurogamer though they quite impartial in their reviews and tech write ups.

It's also tough to call Neogaf a Sony site when they have a thriving MS community. Gaming discussions on GAF are only rivalled by official gaming site threads and perhaps reddit.

2x the power is still about 4 tflps! Thats up there with the best gpus. And for that performance they should still be at a loss.

The thing is other tech sites havent even alluded to it. Zero mention.Anandtech's write up said absolutely nothing about stacked hardware not even the possibility of it. Misterx media claims to have proof (if you go to his website hes uses pictures etc.) that means that he knows more than all those tech sites :/

And i really dont know much about stacked hardware but what about power, heat and cooling? X1 doesnt have anything special in that regard. If stacking is so amazing to bypass all the usual requirements and limitations why hasnt AMD, Nvida, Intel jumped on it yet?

And finally i still dont see how witholding the power benefits MS. Devs will learn to optimise regardless of the power of the system. And as for PS5 ? Why worry about the PS5 when you can kill off the PS brand in the current gen? Seriously if the X1 had that much power for that price it would be a technical marvel. PC gamers would buy it. hardcore gamers would buy it. Casuals would buy it. Everyone will switch over to X1 immediately. There will be no comeback for Sony.

As of right now though X1 is as likely to have stacked hardware as the PS4 or WiiU.

Yeah, they'd surely be selling at a loss of at least $100 if it has even 2x the power. I guess Microsoft could afford a loss like that but the reasoning behind such a move is questionable, wouldn't it just be better to sell it fully unlocked at $600 and break even, sure it would be too pricey for some, but it would still be more powerful than the PS4 and cheaper than a gaming PC with similar power, and the price would go down over time making it more affordable later in the gen (like the PS3 last gen).

Yeah, you'd think that some of these major tech sites would have noticed the same telltale signs of stacking that those on misterx's site claim to have found. It's definitely pretty fishy. Unless Microsoft paid them to keep it secret as part of their supposed secrecy plan, but it'd be hard to keep a lid on it even then.

I actually think that the Xbox One could handle the heat, they put that big fan directly below an intake vent for a reason, I think they could cool it if they increased the fan speed enough, might make it as noisy as the 360 though, at least while gaming, but I think I saw something on misterx's site about it having a seperate low power mode for media consumption so that it stays quiet for that. Power on the other hand I'm not sure of, is the X1's power supply rated high enough to power everything once the chipset is fully enabled?

I have no idea about the power issue..just another factor to think about XD

When is GDC btw?

Question to those who know...
Does anyone know how, or why Microsoft got Kingdom Hearts 3 onto the Xbox One? You think they paid for the game? Maybe SE saw the relative success of FF XIII and decided to put both FF XV and KH3 onto the One.

Basically that.    The XBone is strong enough and the new generation is a whole new world!

really glad it's on both systems.

Yeah, but I gotta wonder though. If those games will be PS4 only in Japan. (I doubt it)

Back when it was decided, all signs pointed to Xbox 720 taking a big lead this gen. I assume it's coming to XBONE because Sony couldn't pay enough to keep it.

But then why not the Wii U? I'll be completely honest, I feel it makes more sense to put it on U than One. I don't think Sony paid Square to NOT put it on the Wii U.
