Very sad that they didn't add support for more resolutions. There goes $100 down the drain for a new monitor.

I have a 1280x1024 monitor that I game on, but the resolution isn't supported by the Xbox One, so everything is all squished up. The same goes for my 360 now since I have to hook it up through my Xbox One since my monitor only has 2 inputs (one for my computer and one for a game system).

So, what do you guys think about Disney's new Star Wars trilogy? I mention it here because I'm sure EA will be making some games based on the new trilogy. Anyway, there's a rumor going around that actor Adam Driver is about to sign on to play the main villain. I've been looking at pictures of him and he looks alot like Jacen Solo/Darth Caedus. There's been rumors going around for awhile that the new movies would be about the Solo twins since some leaked casting call descriptions matched their descriptions in the books, the evidence is really starting to pile up now.

I think they said that they were making the expanded universe non-canon, but I don't think they ever said they wouldn't use ideas from the expanded universe. I get the feeling that they'll take characters from the expanded universe but won't copy the plot exactly. Honestly, I think that's best, I like the characters from the Expanded Universe, but the plot from about 25 ABY onwards I never really liked, so I'd rather see them use the characters but change the plot. 

Were the old actors confirmed? I heard that they were all interested in reprising their roles, but that they hadn't actually signed on yet. As far as I know R2-D2 is the only confirmed character as of now. I do hope they bring the old actors back, have them hand the torch off to the new generation of characters, in other words make the movies more about the new characters with the old characters playing secondary roles.

Yeah, I'm sure it is, I think less than 20% of screens now use an aspect ratio other than 16:9 or 4:3, and those remaining screens are almost always computer monitors, and since very few people hook game consoles up to computer monitors, it's not really an issue for very many people. I'm not sure when Microsoft added 1280x1024 support to the 360, could have been years after it released for all I know. I guess I'm going to have to break down and buy a 16:9 monitor. It really does suck though, because my current monitor is top of the line other than the resolution, the only 16:9 monitors in my price range have lesser features than my current monitor. So in other words I'm going to be forced to buy a largely inferior monitor : (
