1) I gave over the years argumented opinions;

2) for not being a sheep and having (mod words) "controversial" tastes XBE members start to hate me, Jay leads the pack seconded by versus the evil;

3) I start to be reported by many, not sure by who exactly because reporting in my back is the coolest thing ever, I guess.

3.5) I'm not part of XBE anymore.

4) true to my convictions I don't change, I dislike being fake above anything. I end up being banned "to calm down and be less negative".

4.5) I lose all my hope in the quality of the moderation.

5) I end up not caring anymore, I tried to be a positive user (quality wise) just to be banned for being negative and having a prestige taste, can't be any other way, I'm not a clown.

Slade was going to make it, but today he decided that he didn't want to do it anymore, so he passed the responsibility to me. Glad you like the design (I took some inspiration from your Nintendomination thread as well as Gooch's PS Nation thread when designing it).

Actually, when I recreated the NintenDomination thread, I also used the Xbox Empire and PSNation/Vita threads for other ideas. Bouncing ideas back and forth is definitely beneficial! :D

More or less this.

People go to gaming websites and forums to stay informed and have conversations with other people who share the same hobby (although VGC being the cesspool it is I don't know how its so popular). When a user posts mainly negative things (specially if its a constant repetition) it drains the mood. Can't blame people for becoming annoyed when they go somewhere to have an adult discussion only to come away from it looking for the nearest razor.

Good times had in this thread. So long then.

Not sure how active I'm gonna be on VGC going forward (if you listen closely you can hear the mods breathing a collective sigh of relief). Been losing interest for a bit now. Will see how I feel about it after E3 is wrapped up
