Oh my!

I used to be addicted to n4g back in the day but retired from that website after the mods removed the two-part split comments where one section called for comments that were based on well-mannered, respectable comments and the other into a free-for-all, flamey onslaught of comments. 

Naturally, I left the place after the mods decided to remove that feature and condense all the comments into one unified section. 

For fun, I went in there last week and yup, it's just as bad as I remember.  Whole bunch of 1 bubbles gonig around flaming everyone, posting idiotic write-ups and whatnot.   

This thread will probably never be the same.

I just beat Dying Light, went to this website... and I did not see this coming, but unlike most people here I don't think I will leave the site at least anytime soon.

Yeah I'll probably end up staying. Was definitely a knee jerk reaction on my end. While I disagree wholeheartedly with the outcome (won't mention it anymore), it must suck for those in the middle of this thing as well.

I'll volunteer to take over, if no one else wants to; especially if Trucks can make it so we can keep the thread.

So Jay was banned... unless we got a worthy replacement I don't think this forum has anything to offer to Xbox fans. Hope things turn around.

I'm not even sure I understand why he got permabanned.

I really want this thread to stay but I'm not as active as most people in the site so I can't take over this thtead.

I'd be happy to back Slade. He's done an excellent job on the E3 thread(s), he's well known on the site, he's trustworthy and most importantly he's a nice guy. I'm sure he'd do an excellent job at filling the big boots left for him
