The creator (Dave Jones, co-creator of GTA series) of first Crackdown ( Metacritic 83, far from mediocre) is back for a sequel of the first one.

The second Crackdown was a mistake made by Xbox team back then.

Ruffian Games (formed by ex-Realtime World devs) and Realtime Worlds were beefing over the development of Crackdown. In the midst of this clustf*** MS gave the newbies (Ruffian Games), less than a year to complete and ship the game.

What we got? A step down from the original Crackdown but I still enjoyed it, a lot.


Ok so they got the creator back. Cool. Who else they got?

Also doesn't change that I still only consider the first Crackdown to be a decent game, and nothing more. Not great, not bad, just decent. Enjoyable, but forgettable. Could they make it more than that? Sure. But I have to see it to believe it.

been playing a ton of halo mcc lately with some friends.

other than that, more titanfall, limbo, and sunset overdrive.  also been playing free roam in forza horizon a ton.  online in that game is excellent.
