MS needs to have the marketing rights to at least 1 of the big Holiday multiplats, and Sony already has 2 of them and is rumored to have a 3rd as well. If MS let's Sony get all of the big Holiday multiplat marketing rights Sony will literally get away with having one of the weakest 1st/2nd party Holiday lineups ever, simply through hype and marketing deals. MS has a real chance to gain some ground this year, they shouldn't waste it. If not AC then at the very least they need Rainbow Six: Seige. |
They're gonna "get away with it" no matter what. And no, they do not need marketing rights to any of those games. CoD has been synonymous with Xbox for years. People aren't gonna suddenly forget that just because someone else is marketing it now. AC was marketed by Sony for quite a long time, it still sold well on Xbox, everyone knows they can buy it there if they want, and nothing changed last year when MS marketed it. Battlefront is the only one where the marketing is actually a big deal, because there hasn't been one in ages and Star Wars is gonna be big this holiday because of the movie, but MS is already marketing a little sci-fi shooter called Halo.
Gonna vote Quantum Break here cus I'm a Remedy fanboy. Also, on that note, Rockstar needs to give them Max Payne back.....Remedy did it wayyy better.
Anyone else got into the press play private group?
Can't really talk about it tho
