 Platforms & Stretch Goals

If our initial Kickstarter funding goal is reached, backers can be assured that the Playtonic team will deliver a complete and satisfying game package. However, given the opportunity and additional resources required, we have a list of ‘dream’ additional extras – and release structures - that we’d love to deliver in order to make Yooka-Laylee an even better game.
If funded, Yooka-Laylee will be released for WindowsMacLinuxXbox OnePlayStation 4and Wii U. However, the exact release timing and scope of each version will be determined by the success of this Kickstarter campaign and specifically, our stretch goals.
We’d love to be able to guarantee a simultaneous, day-one release on all platforms in order to satisfy every Yooka-Laylee backer. In order to do this we’ll need to significantly expand our resources and budget, and if we can reach the funding number required we’d be excited to do so.
Any extra money will of course go towards improving the game. Below is an example of some of the extra features we’ll be able to fulfil by reaching stretch funding goals:

As much as I think playtonic are borrowing a bit too much from the banjo-kazooie series, I'll happily fund this title, making it the first kickstarter I've ever helped to fund.  Hope the game ends up great.

I won't back it.

Ok at least the PC version will be already funded today (just realised that it will release on consoles when funded, the stretch goal is only for a simultaneous release)

Damn, that kickstarter goal is definitely going to be reached. I wouldn't doubt it hitting the max $1M goal or even surpassing it.

So, Swery will keep supporting D4 on Xbox One or he's going to commit to PC now?

This kickstarter is showing just how much demand their is for a new Banjo. Damn Rare, if you aren't already developing Banjo 3 you'd better take notice of the fact that this game is already more than halfway funded in less than 30 minutes.

Just shows how shenmue would own on Kickstarter.

A new banjo game better be one of the titles that Rare is working on.
