I really doubt it, if you think about it the current OS inside the X1 would be the original E3 designed operating system then a load of bits and pieces tacked onto it to allow it to run offline/drm free and Kinect free. The way they probably added those extra bits and pieces onto the OS coming up to launch would have added a lot of bloat which would be eating resources. Now that the launch is over they can start to work on a full overhaul of the OS from the ground up and streamline all the features which should be there into a neat little package and properly removing the original E3 OS pieces and their patches to negate them in one go.
8% more gpu tho, when talking about a gpu the power of the X1's already that is another 50-100 zombies on screen in DR3 heh, will be amazing if it's true.

Oh I see, Thanks for clearing that up Lol Good then, Kinect is pretty good right now, Since Kinect will get it's own updates also would that decrease the amount of GPU that the Kinect is using??? Will 8% even make a difference also? Lol Hope they focus allot on the updates for XB1, I think they have a team for each section, So one team for Friend features, One for Kinect, One for Os etc. so updates should come out much faster which will be awesome

Oh my post is 100% on guess work! I've no inside info about the actual workings of upcoming patch data! It just seems like this would be the most obvious way they would have built the OS to get it ready for launch.
Regarding what % kinect uses itself I guess there would be the possibility of a game launching for the X1 which fully disabled Kinect just to push it to the limit but you aren't going to be seeing anything with that kinda requirements until the system has been out for maybe 7-8 years, kinda the way the 360 is still able to run things like CoD:Ghosts on its 512mb of ram when the pc version has min requirements of 6gb. I actually kinda hope they wouldn't ever go for disabling the kinect tho since it would be giving in a small bit to the pissing contest that is resolution wars and from most feedback on people who have X1's there is no effect on gameplay based on the fact that someone with a different console somewhere has a lara croft with 10 more hairs on her head lol.
Regarding updates btw for the X1 do you remember what the Xbox360 looked like at launch? the blades UI? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UURZ5IRvJQ4 when you compare that to the windows 8 looking UI the 360 has now it's like the console has had 2 generations worth of life. (3 if you include the first appearence of avatars and the odd box layout UI) Can definately expect to see the X1 evolving over the next few years to keep in line with technology.
