Yes, but that was nearly a year before release, before the optimization stage of development. It should look better than that demo, the question is how much better? The E3 demo looked meh, hopefully the XB1 version looks alot better than that after optimization.

I don't know what it is, but something didn't look quite right about it. For one the quality was low because it was compressed by the stream, and the archived footage is doubly compressed due to Youtube's own compression. But even disregarding the compression, environment textures seem a bit low res to me (especially the textures for grass and foliage), and there's this wierd shiny effect on the ground, even in areas where the ground should be dry (outside of the swamp) that bugs the heck out of me for some reason (the PC footage we've seen doesn't have the same shininess on the ground). On the plus side, character models looked fantastic in that early XB1 footage.

Of course CD Projekt has had nearly a year after that demo to optimize the game, so with any luck the XB1 version looks quite a bit better than the E3 demo. CD Projekt has said that the XB1 version is comparable to PC high settings running at 900p, so theoretically it should look nearly as good as this PC high footage from the January press event: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgJUL3nN4iI

I'm not usually a big graphics whore, I can still enjoy plenty of older games despite their outdated graphics. It's just the combination of the things that bugged me about the early XB1 E3 footage, combined with the fact that the PC version of Witcher 3 looks simply gorgeous, that has me somewhat worried about Witcher 3's graphics on XB1.
