I would like to see a WW game again, it's not as it was once where we saw too many of them at once. But what I also want to see from CoD is a futuristic game far into future where humanity populated different planets and where you see different human fractions fighting for new planets or something like that. Just Humans, futuristic games with aliens are enough from other devs.

Trine 3 isn't announced for consoles yet but as long as Sony or MS won't buy exclusive rights  it will probably  also come to both consoles so that I post the IGN article with 9 minutes gameplay here. But it wouldn't surprise me if it will be bought by one and maybe also a reason why not yet announced for consoles, could be on one of their conferences.

The description of the video makes it clear that Gears 3 was the final installment of the trilogy. Still very curious if it will be a sequel similar to Halo 3 to Halo 4

Xbox celebrated the final installment of the Gears of War Trilogy with launch events in New York, Mexico City, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Korea.

I think they said no prequel so either a new trilogy or a new cast of characters

I think it will be set after the events of Gears 3 personally.  But yeah, new characters might be coming.  Ill miss Marcus if so :(  But ill still be happy that it is after Gears 3

I guess MS knows about the upcoming uncharted collection thing, and felt the need to announce gears soon.
