Witcher 3 Speedrun takes Dev 25 hours to Complete

Just how big is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt? That's one of the big questions occupying the minds of fans who are readying to enter the world of the Polish-developed RPG saga.

The studio's promising around 100 hours of content (and several more with DLC factored in), arounds 50 of which will be the main story - on a normal play-through.

But what about a speedrun? Well, a still-sizeable 25 hours is the time to beat, according to CD Projekt Red themselves. Talking to the developer during the Frankfurt leg of Bandai Namco's Level Up event this week, Gamereactor Germany were told that even the fastest of the internal testers took 25 hours to complete the story. That's taking the best route, clicking through all dialogues.

Naturally these testers know the game inside and out though, so it's quite safe to say there is no need to worry about lack of content in Wild Hunt.

this was posted in the gaf ori ot

Most of our Tech guys were still super busy on the patch and the design team is busy testing the current builds - There's a lot of good stuff happening there and the patch should be released very, very soon.

Apart from interviews, post mortems, etc., I'm also dabbling around with a few prototypes. There are 5 potential things we have in the oven right now (spanning from smaller to _huge_ projects) and I'd love to talk about these games, but as usual, we have to keep things secret for a while longer. We like a good secret as much as the next guy ;) Some other people just came back from their well-deserved vacations, so I think it's all good :)

We also started acquiring some new talent and I'm super excited to see them do work for us. I think a lot of people are really interested in our way of working, the 'virtual office' kinda thing, etc. - and I think a lot of people are just super hungry to work on passion projects instead of doing work on the, without trying to sound disrespectful, 'factory games'.

Business-wise, Ori was already profitable a week after release and Microsoft is super happy, so we'll see about Ori's future :)

Hmm, so it sounds like their next project could go either way from Ori 2 or a new IP

360, not XBO.  XBO has I believe 16TB max

Good to see ori and the blind forest developers getting profitable. Really standout game. Good luck for next project.
