I gotta be careful with the Xbox One game cases, they're so fragile that I broke the DR3 case while trying to get the game out :(

Maybe it came a little broken and I just made it worse cause I got it from the mail too. Oh well. I stuck the game in a 360 case for now. I'll see if I can order a few replacement cases from ebay someday but for now it'll be ok.

Didn't see any Xbox or PS ads. In fact the only game ads I saw were for mobile games, which made me quite sad. AAA publishers need to get their act together.

I wonder how much it would cost to get like a 30 sec ad in SB. I can imagine quite a bit like massive of millions.

Man, that Seahawks comeback was real, and then it wasn't : ( What a dumb call by the coaches, half a yard, they should have given it to Lynch, he could have easily powered that ball a half a yard.

Somewhere in Germany... Angelus is mad....

I think I heard it was $4.5m for a 30 second ad this year.

Nice $150,000 per second. Btw I saw a comparison earlier today for Saints Row Re-Elected + Gat out of hell but it didn't look any better than the last gen version. I'm not sure if it's just me but did you see any comparison vids?

There are some improvements. Resolution has been increased, and they added some anti-aliasing (SR3 and SR4 had no anti-aliasing on 360/PS3). There are some minor texture and lighting improvements as well I think. Framerate is improved some as well, but it's not at 60 fps, it has a variable framerate between 30 and 60. All in all it's not a huge difference. I'm not sure that it's really worth the price if you have already played SR4 on last-gen. That's why I'm going to rent it.

It's probably just me than since it looks the same to me. I noticed a little higher framerate though. I'm not feeling on the price now when I think about it as well. But that's the only Saints Row I haven't played yet.

No games ads except mobiles as far as I saw. kind of sad considering bloodeborn, the order, the witcher, as well as other big games are around the corner. At the very least I would have expected an add on dying light. Oh well. Commercials over all was meh.

The game itself was amazing though xD sooooo happy patriots won.

To be fair if it's not an absolute blockbuster, ads for "core games" are pretty useless at Superbowl. Costs of what? $5m for an ad? Pretty unlikely that you will get that money back with one single ad when most gamers who could be interested in these games get their information from gaming sites and the likes and to convince someone to buy a whole console you need more than one single ad.

That's also why you see mobile game ads, because these are for the casual crowd who will maybe only hear about that game because of this single ad and they can even download that game just a minute after they saw the ad. I mean, there were probably many who saw such an ad and were like "let's download it, it's only a few bucks or even free" and those will tell their friends if they like it so that such an ad could push "millions" in sales over the next months.

For companies like BMW it's something different, they have ads for products which make billions in revenue.
