Forums - Microsoft - Xbox Empire - New thread up soon!

Well, I said it before, if MS could manage to increase the eco-system for Xbox games it would be even better and it would be totally unimportant if MS would sell 20, 50, or 100m Xbox consoles. Those who have a gaming PC don't need an Xbox anymore and XBO would get more games with a fusion of XBO and PC gaming with Windows 10.

In the end everything would be just better for XB and PC owners if there wouldn't be just one thing, how shall it work to play with controller against keyboard+mouse players in competitive modes? That doesn't sound possible to manage to get a fair experience but for pretty much everything else a fusion of Xbox and PC gaming (if that is even what MS considers) would be also good for Xbox players even if Xbox sales would decrease (which I even doubt to be honest). It will only increase the number of users in this eco-system and it will increase the number of games released on PC and XB consoles.

But yeah, that keyboard vs controller problem is a huge problem even if you can be still better than the average m+k player with a controller.

Just got all the collectibles in Sunset Overdrive. That was quite a journey :P

I feel like some of you guys are over reacting to news you dont even know what is.

So what do we think are best and worst case scenarios for the Windows 10 event?

Browser:
Best - It's called Spartan, a real Firefox/Chrome contender, lightweigh with add ons and speedy. I would abandon Firefox for it.
Worst - IE all over again.

Gaming Iniative:
Best - Either an outright competitor to steam that goes toe to toe and yes, does have XB1 exclusives. Cross play with Xbox One, and streaming on any Windows 10 device. Cross buy and a couple of game announcements.
Worst - GFWL 2.0, paid subscritpion, no XB1 exclusives, no streaming to Xbox and no game announcements.

Phone:
Best - Unveil a new flagship phone and talk on Windows 10.
Worst - Barely touch on phones

Cortana:
Best - Across all devices, Cortana works almost flawlessy.
Worst - Still only on Phones

tomwarren: Microsoft is holding some Windows 10 on Xbox sessions with developers after the 21st. Interesting.

Browser:
I don't care, I'm ok with chrome (my brother helped building it after all)

Gaming Iniative:
Worse - does have XB1 exclusives, paid subscription, no streaming to Xbox and no game announcements.
Best - NO XB1 exclusives, limited Cross play with Xbox One, and streaming on tablet device. Cross buy and a couple of game announcements(XBO/PC RTS's).

Phone:
I don't care, I like my Iphone.

Cortana:
I don't care, I don't see myself using it.

I'd like to see VR on the show tho, instead of wasting time on E3 talking about it.

MS seems to only just recently start getting rid of old ip's though, cancelled 4 in a month so far =P (Blinx, Voodo, Ninety Nine Nights, Crimson Skies)

Pretty sure NNN is still alive, blinx and voodoo are death tho

The other was crimson skies right? still alive.

You are confusing game software with guides again, probably.

Yep lol, didn't check into them

Strategy Guides for NNN was cancelled but Game Software was - SECTION 8 & 15-ACCEPTED AND ACKNOWLEDGED 9/3/2013 (Honestly doubt they will ever make another NNN though)

Books for Crimson Skies was cancelled but Software was renewed - REGISTERED AND RENEWED 3/6/2013

Yeah, Blinx and Voodoo are the only dead ones atm =P

i hope you are wrong about NNN I love KUF like games

If i buy a console i want exclusives. Other wise why the hell would i have bought a console over a pc. If xbox games go to pc, then i wasted my money in buying an xbox one instead of a pc. or even a ps4.

Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65)

Wii u: 20 milliion
