JP VA is pretty solid tho, I'm using it. I've only heard good things about the game, best ff in years they say.

And yeah, the collector's edition is so tempting but expensive, OST/hard cover art book/manga/cool looking box and steelbox.. I want it but I can't have it for that price :|

Is the JP voice acting going to be available in the North American localized version? If so I might just use it.

Yeah, the soundtrack and 200 page manga are big selling points for me. It's mightly tempting, but $100 is too steep for me. Honestly the $60 price tage is too steep for me as well but I'm going to have to pay it regardless. Don't know why Squeenix is charging us $60 to play a game that's several years old and was only the equivalent of $40 when it released in Japan originally, but whatever. Square Enix sucks with their pricing on HD remasters, first Tomb Raider, then Sleeping Dogs, and now Typea-0 HD.

Yeah it is, as it always should.

$40 sounds about right, taking in account how they took out the co op.

I'd really love to see Infinite Undiscovery 2 come out for the X1.

Just in case anyone tries to downplay XB1 sales this year (in the US at least) just remember this. Xb1 has done better this year in 2014 in the US, than PS3 ever did in any year, and better than 8/10 Xbox 360 years.

Also, on par with Wii's first year and tracking ahead, alligned.

Yeah, it sucks that Tri-Ace is mainly a mobile developer now, their last several games all went to PSP, 3DS, and Vita. MS should lure them to Xbox with some sweet, sweet money. A new Star Ocean from them would be great as well.

That's a shame. No wonder why I haven't heard from the dev team for quite awhile.

You know the Xbox one is selling well when it is outselling the PS3 and 360 in their respective first timeframe.

Proud to be a Californian.

I'll be on later tonight, so hopefully you'll still be on then.

I will leave in about 3 hours (and 20 minutes).

edit: even teams... wow

Ok, I'll probably be online in about an hour, so we can play together for awhile hopefully. I think Sting told me a few days ago that he'd be online Friday, so maybe we can get him with us too.

yeah, do I have you added on XBL? I have no idea.

MCC is not working for me..

I'm just gonna go ahead and say this. I totally feel for all you guys wanting Japanese games to play on your Xbox, who wish Phil would do more to secure those titles. I can certainly appreciate the need for MS to do more on this front as there is a number of people asking for it, and diversifying their portfolio can only win them some fans in the long run.

However.....me being selfish, on a purely personal, honest level here. I could not be happier if Phil mostly ignores the Japanese market and puts those MS dollars to use just getting as many western games as possible. Because if I'm being real, just speaking from my heart of hearts, I honestly find most Japanese games to be absolutely terrible. They're incredibly niche for the most part, their gameplay mechanics are boring and/or outdated, their characters are the worst stereotypes in any medium, and a great deal of them have too much of an anime style which I'm not a fan of.

Now, that's not to say that there aren't select games coming out of Japan that I absolutely adore, that I would kill for to have exclusive on Xbox. But by and large....I simply find western games to be far superior and a better investememt for Xbox, because I just don't believe that the real fan base of these types of games will ever choose Xbox over PS and Nintendo systems.

And again, to all those of you who feel different, I totally get it. I sympathise. In an ideal world we can all have all the games we want on our system of of choice. But if Phil wants to double down on western games, and resign himself so to speak to just getting the big multiplats like FFXV and KH3 or what have you on Xbox....that's totally cool with me
