I like that, Halo was really never about K/D but wins and losses, of course people looked at +/- but after the game. If K/D becomes a thing gamers will start shifting their play to protect their K/D.

I think that's a problem in many games with ranking systems, as long as you don't have a higher rank you will have many fucked up games with people leaving, teamkillers and so on and you will get punished for that.

I also don't like that in Counter Strike. Not only do you have many smurf accounts (second accounts of very good players who play a much lower rank then and destroy everything so that often the team with the smurf will win and not the team with the bester players who belong to that level) but if you have some guys leaving you have only two possibilities, leave as well and don't be able to play for a certain time (that's what you get as punishment for leaving games, some get even a ban for a whole week haha) or stay in the game and waste half an hour to get raped since you have only bots as help lol.

But like someone else said, k/d should be not really what to look at if you play competitive. It's obviously good to have a good k/d since it probably means you are good but a lower k/d because of leaving teammates or stuff like that doesn't make you a worse player so that it's uninteresting which K/d ratio you have because of them. Percentage of wins is what to look at. 

My K/D is so screwed up because im the ass who won't quit but continue 5 on 2.

It is infuriating being a XBox owner on the internet. Every, EVERY time I say anything not negative(including neutral comments) about XB on the internet I get verbally attacked by several people(I can assume Sony people) about: Sony does it better, PS4 is selling better, Im a fanboy, yeah after a $150 price cut, PS4 has ___ amount of indys coming out in that time, ___ was moneyhatted by M$, PSN is giving out more/better free games, XB1 DRM, XB1 less powerful, parity, Sony did it first, etc, etc. God forbid you say anything resembling criticism about Sony.

Earlier today I said in a SF4 thread on Reddit(? I forget) about how MS should strike back at Sony by moneyhatting Lost Planet 4. Maybe my humor sucks but that comment was jab at LP. What happens. I get a bunch of messages saying how MS started the war. "Strike back at what, MS moneyhatted Dead Rising" and so on.

What the hell is going on. It's not just this site. Any site, even non gaming ones, its like there is an army waiting to start shit. I used to laugh at a site like N4G, but now every website I go to is becoming like that. It's like Sony is paying people to monitor every action on the internet.

I feel like this thread is one of the few bastions of sanity left. I just want to enjoy internet conversation without being constantly attacked.

I thought ughtful you didn't like Xbox lol. But yeah it sucks Haha. The sales and power difference is making Sony fans cocky. But I think the real culprit Is last gen. Sony fans were picked on last gen a lot so they are bitter and this is their way of getting back. Not everyone ofc
