Sony line up isn't that great, there's about one game I want (P5) which also comes out for the ps3.
But that's me, I don't enjoy "cinematic experiences".

Does anyone recommend the play and charge kit for the X1 controller or should I just get rechargeable batteries?

I don't have p&c kit. I have rechargeable batteries (eneloop), I charge them maybe every 2 weeks on average.

Really, wow that's really good! How much did the batteries cost?

I would!
It's like $25 (what I paid for) and they last very long. All you have to do is plug it in by USB to the Xbox console itself. Can be played while charging too. The length of the cord is very long as well. The pack seems lighter than batteries as well, so it will decrease the mass on the controller.
I'm buying a second one for my other controller :)

But how long does the charge last after charging it with the kit?

They vary but they're all good. Here's a link on Amazon.
| Goatseye said: To tell you the truth, I don't see all the hype for Sony 2015. All people keep mentioning is Q1-Q2. Bloodborne and The Order, 2 unproven titles with no legacy; One has the hype because it's a clone of DS in London Victorian set and the other is a TPS with dubious gameplay execution and set in Victorian London... again. Then... comes Q3-Q4, we all know MS has some titles for 2015 w/o a release date. An FPS (Halo5), a TPS (QB), a RPG(Fable), TP Adventure (Tomb Raider)and possibly a Racing title(Forza M6). In the first quarters Xbox will release some appreciated small titles like: Ori, State of Decay, Screamride, etc... If that's sad, I must say you're not interested in Xbox anymore buddy. |
Totally agree except Bloodborne looks interesting and Fromsoft has a good track record with the Souls series. Other than that I don't even know what Sony has that is compelling for next year except for U4. So Sony needs to announce new games more than MS imo.

Someone should ask Phil to invest in Korean mmo makers. They seem really good at it. This one in particular looks interesting.

I use eneloop and I only have to recharge like after 30+ hours.
