Titanfall is just a glorified lost planet. First person shooters are so damn boring now and the market is so over saturated. Leave it to Microsoft to milk the shit out of them, can't wait to see how much DLC and micro transactions they have.

Yeah same here, I haven't played The Last Story yet, but I keep seeing that rumor. A Lost Odyssey sequel is the one game I want more than anything. Although, LO ended so well, I'm guessing it would have to be like a spiritual sequel with all new characters.

Yes, I've heard that to, apparently Sakaguchi had a falling out with Sony at some point, and he refuses to develop for the Playstation because of it. I think it had something to do with the Square Enix merger and Sony giving some funding to Enix to buy Square out, and since Sakaguchi was the primary Square shareholder he lost a ton of his power and weight within the company because of he merger, which was why he resigned his position at Square. Microsoft of course leaped at the oppurtunity and gave Sakaguchi the funding to form Mistwalker. However, after Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey were developed there was a 3rd game in development for the Xbox 360 called Cry-On, which was cancelled, now I've heard some rumors that the reason it was cancelled was because Microsoft and Mistalker decided to part ways, which is supposedly why Mistwalker has since developed for the Wii, iOS, and Android. However, Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey on the 360 remain Mistwalker's bestselling games, so hopefully they won't completely abandon the Xbox. Hopefully one of those Japanese titles that Phil Spencer mentioned has been signed to the Xbox One is from Mistwalker.

Sucks for the Sony audience because LO in particular was a fantastic game, but that kind of business happens all the time and it's more of less the nature of the beast. I really hope they didn't part ways too. I mean LO sold decently for the 360 right? 800K back in what 2008 whenit released?

Did Phil say when he was unveiling the games? Close to Japan launch? E3? Or just a vague 2014?

Lol I just checked my rewards and I had 4 million sitting there waiting for me. Good thing you brought it up cause they were going to expire tomorrow.

 

Man these rewards coupled with the increase in money you'll be making in the game with the next update will make it so you'll be able to buy every car and have plenty of cash left over. It's ridiculous.

"Microsoft Japan just held its Xbox 360 end of the year informal party in Tokyo, and Xbox Division General Manager Takashi Sensui was in attendance. During a brief speech, as reported via tweet by several that were in attendance like corpse_cr he said that the company is “committed” to release the Xbox One in the country in 2014, which is a relief considering that the web has been quite rife with rumors about delays of the console in markets much nearer to Microsoft’s core target than Japan.

Below you can see a few pictures of the party and the raffle held during the celebrations (tweeted by corpse_cr himself), including the cake for the fifth anniversary of the brand in the country. And yes, they had maids. It’s Japan, after all."
