Since nobody else mentioned Child of Light I guess I should tell you guys something about it in case you haven't heard of it yet. It's a side-scrolling platformer with turn-based RPG combat. It features a rather unique hand-drawn art style powered by the UbiArt Framework engine (previously used on Rayman Legends) and some fantastic piano-based music. The game has been referred to as a cross between LIMBO's presentation and Final Fantasy's combat system, with a Studio Ghibli art-style. It's being designed by much of the creative team that worked on Far Cry 3.

How have I not heard of this game? Ubisoft making a turn base RPG? Shiit, looks good!

Yep, they've announced that it's next-gen and is named Sleeping Dogs: Triad Wars, and that it's expected to release in 2014. They've also teased this blurry image of the game being worked on:

Oh shit... that's mine! One of the most underated games on this gen.

I've heard of Child of Light. Very surprised when they announced it considering the genre. It's always been weird to me that Ubisoft does not have their own Western RPG. They cater to so many different genres that not having a Western RPG like Witcher 3, Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect is a little strange to me.

Yeah, you're right about that. I think Ubisoft should have acquired the rights to Kingdoms of Amalur. Maybe they will eventually if Rhode Island lowers their asking price.

YES! I had the same thoughts on KoAR and Ubisoft awhile ago.I even thought MS would have been a good fit, not a very popular opinion though.

So........... anyone going to get Final Fantasy XV on the X1? I want to see if we have a few JRPG fans on Xbox (which I know we do so speak).

Does anybody remember B.C? Idk why it got cancelled but it would be awesome if that game came to Xbox One =D If it was to do with power issues then that problem is gone now, Funding could easily be done since their spending over 1Billion on games and it was originally a exclusive to Xbox, Looked pretty good as well and since Phil is looking at old games to see which can be remade or sequel he could see B.C =P

Noble: Nope, I don't plan on getting it, It just doesn't interest me much tbh I think the only game I've played like Final Fantasy 13 is Tales of Vesperia and Blue Dragon, Loved Tales though but just don't have enough time to spend 100+ hours on it Lol

Understandable, I also loved Tales of Vesperia one of my favorite games from the 360/PS3 era. Although if a Lost Odyssey 2 gets announced then all bets are off and I'm getting a Xbox One.

Definitely, it's one of my most anticipated games, I've been waiting for it ever since it was first announced at E3 2006 as Versus XIII. This year at E3 when Sony first showed FF XV and KH3 at their press conference I was planning on getting a PS4 instead of an Xbox One for precisely one night, but then the next day came and Square clarified that both games were also coming to the Xbox One, so I decided to get the Xbox One. The Xbox One is likely going to be getting a decent number of JRPG's, so far we've got FF XV and KH3, we've also got 2 western RPG's coming that are heavily JRPG influenced, Cosmic Star Heroine and Child of Light. And of course Microsoft's Phil Spencer has announced that they've already signed several Japanese games for the Xbox One which they'll be announcing in 2014, I'm sure that at least one of those is a JRPG. And of course we haven't heard anything from Mistwalker in quite awhile, so hopefully Microsoft has them working on a new JRPG.

You have opened my eyes to the light! I might just buy a PS4 and then trade someone on craigslist for a Xbox One, that way I save myself the extra $100.

Since they are looking at old game ips, What would people like to be remade or a sequel off? My most wanted would be

1. Conker - Sequel; I see no reason for it to be remade
2. Brute Force - Remake since they was only one game which was on the original Xbox
3. Viva Pinata - Sequel
4. Crackdown 3 - Sequel
5. B.C - Remake since it was never made it can't have a sequel Lol
6. Kung Fu Chaos - Remake but with the same humor Lol
7. Banjo

They would be my most wanted =P I don't mind if/when a Perfect Dark is made since I never played it and I can wait for Kameo and other games like another exclusive tales if they is one, Jade Empire etc.

Out of that list I'd like to see Conker the most. Although I wouldn't mind Crackdown 3 if it's done right.

I really want to see another Conker game, not a remake but a sequel to see what other goofy fun stuff they can do. The same for Viva Pinata.

Crackdown - Either a full sequel that actucally expends off the original and doesn't just try to be the same thing but less fun. Or a reboot so that they can make it in a new city.

Fable -  I love this series but I feel like it needs a reboot so that the next one isn't set further into the industial age.

Lost Odyssey - I hope Mistwalker is making a sequel to this game right now.
