Sorry it was 99k for NA. But only 91 for USA. This is where it gets odd. It says 286k for the following week with a 214% increase. That's way more than a 214 increase. That's like 315%. 214%  would only be 196k. I'm confused.

possibly.  I have enjoyed jj abrams' movies thus far, especially his take on star trek.  I can't speak for the older star trek movies as I've never seen them, but I thought the two new ones from jj and crew were pretty fantastic.

I think JJ's style suits better with Star Wars than with Star Trek... he kind of gave Star Trek a more fantasy look and less realism thn what ST was known for.

Yeah, I agree that Star Wars is better suited for JJ than Star Trek was. Plus, I think that the writers on the new Star Trek movies, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, were more responsible for how Star Trek turned out than JJ was, and they're not writing the new Star Wars, the writer of Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi is co-writing it with JJ. So there is still some hope for the new trilogy. I keep hearing plot rumors that I don't like though, really hope they aren't true. The Expanded Universe stuff set after ROTJ is much better than some of these plot rumors I've been hearing.


Didn't know that thanks. The only thing I'm worried is if they'll aim for a general audience. Would hate to go back to Jar Jar.

I have a question I know I could just use oogle but ehh... can X1 play 3D BR movies?

yes.  you have to enable it though under settings.

343 better hope that the patch tonight makes matchmaking a good deal better, because I imagine a fair number of reviews will base their scores on that.
