1. Just looking at full exclusives/console exclusives, there's a Kinect sports game, 2 first person shooters, 1 third person shooter, D4's unique genre (which is kind of like a point and click adventure with QTE's and voice/motion support), the completion of a fighter (Killer Instinct, which is getting more characters and a story mode in 2014), several indie games of varying genres, and Project Spark (which allows you to play games from about a dozen different genres). That's plenty of variety. When you add in multiplatform games, every genre is there except for a major platformer (which may be remedied if Rare's 3rd game turns out to be a new Banjo or Conkers). 

2. Sony buys games and exclusive content, and Nintendo buys games. 

3. Titanfall, Halo: Spartan Assault, and Project Spark are the only 3 Xbox One consoles exclusives, meaning that the Xbox One is the only console they're available on.
