Started playing Borderlands next! So far, super fun! Not a huge FPS fan, but the RPG elements and gameplya re really fun! Can't beleive it took me this long to play it!

Ya Frankie and the other guy did a couple interviews/demos with ign and gamespot and I'm pretty sure they say it in there.  Frankie said they were going "old school" and away from the progressive leveling up ala call of duty. Those spartan abilities like wall cover, and slam or whatever it was are things everyone can do, they said they were just new mechanics like duel wealding was. Also map control, weapon spawning was coming back. They didn't say they would have 1-50 but they said the people who wanted it will be happy with there system. I mean 343 has that guy josh menk as senior multiplayer designer. He made the Starcraft 2 ladder system.

I hope people actually buy Phantom Dust. People clamor for it, and then when the game sells poorly they expect another game.............

I know. Sadly it looks like a game that even if it gets 85 meta it will have a hard time reaching 1 million copies.

I will certainly be buying Phantom Dust. Super excited xD Which means you guys will hear a lot of it until it releases ;P

So just finished playing Destiny. It is pretty awesome. Plays similar to halo but it is different enough. Very good from what ive played of it. Graphics werent amazing but it is beta so who knows. Gameplay is what is important and Bungie certainly didnt let me down

Guys... sorry to burst your bubble, but according to VGC the original PD sold 111K...
I know I'm buying it day one, but I wouldn't expect a million.

I doubt that the first game got a big Marketing push.

That is true!

I definitely see this doing better than the original, but I don't think it will be a "million seller".

If it does, awesome!
