Even if Microsft publishes it, it's still technically developed by a 3rd party developer. My take anyways.

Platinum wouldn't be a big 3rd party exclusive IMO. Based on rumors thought MS hast two 3rd party exclusive anyway right? So one small (Platinum) and one large (Ubisoft, EA, etc...)
