Forums - Microsoft - Xbox Empire - New thread up soon!

There could be some spontaneous purchases, and games I'm undecided on added, but as of right now I these are the games I will definitely buy in the first 12 months:

Battlefield 4
Ryse
Forza 5
NBA 2K14
Dead Rising 3
Assassin's Creed 4 (not at launch, but at some point)
Xbox Fitness (does that count? Free first year right?)
Titanfall
MGS Ground Zeroes
Quantum Break
Destiny
Witcher 3
Dragon Age Inquisition
Halo 5
Fable Legends (if it comes out next year)

So.......ya....a lot

Around the Network

For the first year purchases poll I put 4-7, but it there are some games that don't have a release date/window yet, so it may wind up being more.

Guaranteed:
-Project Spark
-The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
-Destiny
-Halo 5
-Killer Instinct (free version)
-Child of Light
-Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

Other possibilities, depending on release window (meaning, if it releases in the first year):
-Sunset Overdrive
-Quantum Break

Other possibilities, depending on budget:
-Ryse: Son of Rome
-The Division
-Strider

Ryse: Haunted Swamps

makes u wonder how much untapped real power the xbox has under its hood and for crisis creator

crytek to say that means that this systems new arquitectured tech is to be uncorked thru

time so it has a 10yr life span like Microsoft intends. Just look at RYSE. And u can see the power

that no other game on any other console has achieved, it would be ignorance to not admit how

amazing this game looks in the tech department, not that it looks good but the best! And I mean including

Killzone SF which looks awesome but not technically better than RYSE. Gameplay wise, it's up to the gamer preference.

It depends on where you live. I live in Minnesota and I have to pay sales tax on digital downloads (or rather the money cards I buy to pay for digital games on the Xbox).

If you buy straight from the console there should be no tax at all.

My state made a law a year or two back that basically says if you have any sort of affiliation with any Minnesota company then you have to charge for sales tax for online orders. Microsoft has a Microsoft Store in my state so they have to charge for sales tax. Amazon on the other hand cut all ties with Minnesotan businesses so they don't charge sales tax.

Which means the best way for me to do things is to buy XBL money cards off of Amazon and use them that way.

Hot off the Press(Less than 300 views as I post)

Your Xbox One

All us Xbox guys should celebrate on November 15th when the PS4 launches. There will be no more threads about every little negative piece of Xbox One news that rears it's head somewhere on the web. No more jumping into every positive thread about the console and it's games, trying to talk it down or derail it. They will all be way too busy playing with their new system, and/or making some threads about how awesome it is. They'll be way too busy to bother us poor Xbox peasants!

You know.....unless the PS4 sucks so much that they really have nothing better to than tell us about how Xbox One eats babies and spreads cancer.

Damn, I don't get it, I've never gotten taxed on purchases from Xbox Live.

Meh, all these videos are now telling us stuff we already know. I don't think there are any secrets left (which isn't a bad thing) I look forward to when it's all about the games!!
