Deadly Premonition made me want to vomit at how terrible it was. Possibly the worst game of the 7th gen I've played. Guess it just goes to show how subjective game quality is.

While true, the game for me had a charm a je ne se qua. Despite every aspect of the game being bad, the sum of its parts gelled together so well, it had a soul, a compelling enough story and was worth playing...I'm just no feeling it in W101, but my bro may be picking it up so I'll see.

I wouldn't say game quality, rather game tastes are subjective, I happen to enjoy narrative allot so i'll find games like Deadly premonitions, Uncharted, and Halo compelling and enjoyable and yet for the same thing reason I finding all Mario games pathetically mind numbing rehashed BS and all because the lack of any compelling story. But hey this is all subjective anyways, what I may like others won't, and what others like I won't, such is the nature of the beast.

Yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhh. Pikmin really suffers from that. I was watching one the other day where the guy was toting like 80 Pikmin around and only using like 20 at a time.

At one point he set a couple dozen to breaking down a wall... then just sat there and watched them. "They're going kind of slow," he said. YOU DON'T SAY.

 

Anyway, W101 looking awesome. I saw the influence, but I didn't realize it was a full-blown Sentai/henshin parody (THAT THEME SONG lol), though I should have seen it coming, considering... y'know, Viewtiful Joe. HENSHIN A-GOGO, BABY

Man, this is really wonderful. Best wiiU game as far as I'm concerned and the only one I'll probably miss if I don't get a wiiU. Hoping a friend of mine does, so that I can try this.
