FOX Digital Entertainment and QMx Interactive have revealed that Firefly Online is in development. It’s described as “a multi-user, social online role-playing game,” and will “initially” come to iOS and Android-enabled smartphones and tablets. It will be released in the summer of 2014.

Personally, I want more of the TV Show or another Movie.  What about everyone else?

i missed the TV craze.....as a genuine space sci-fi fan, what made it so special?

I call it "Live Action" Cowboy Bebop.

It also has no Aliens or "Robots" and one of the more humorous Science Fictions out there.

Personally, I think it is more relatable to humanities future than many other shows.  And Im a huge Sci-Fi fan as well.

One of the Best Sci fi Shows and movies around. Sad they are only targetting phones and tablets, not something i enjoy gaming on.

Yup.  Still though, Id rather something else besides a game.

The thing that made Firefly so special came down to its Characters. Honestly it pains me to see Two and a Half Men spewing hot garbage for 9 years and Firefly couldn't even get 2 seasons

Me too, only just rewatched the series and serenity 2 weeks ago. Considering much of the garbage they produce it is a travesty that such a quality show was cut down before it even had a chance to succeed.

This is true.  Though I cannot just hate FOX for the problems with the show, as there were so many stupid issues behind the entire project.

It is a MAJOR shame this show wasnt produced recently, or I would bet Netflix or Amazon or one of those would pick up the project and continue it (or possibly the ScyFy channel).
