I see the usual Sony suspects coming in here with any reason to try to bash Microsoft. How are those Sony TVs and Vitas doing?

Quite expected, as now you can also find smart ones at almost dirt cheap prices. Sad, though, the decline of the excellent low end Nokias, even when not labeled this way they are rugged almost as rugged competitor models.
I like my new cheap Motorola Android phone, but Android still needs some refinements so more competition is welcome, well done Nokia.

I see vgchartz is as full of clueless people as always. Nokia invented the martphone, how come it was late?
Nokia's problem never was a vision, it was their execution and managerial dumbness. And Elop hadn't done anything positive on that part, while destroying their engineering side.

non smartphone sales are dropping off a cliff for all companies... of course. |
Kowen and his spin.
Nokia were well ahead in the transition among all of the traditional vendors. They were succesfully migrating their customers from 'dumbphones' and even 'featurephones' to 'smart' ones. After 2011 it all went belly up though.

NO they did NOT. the Simon Personal Communicator was the first "smartphone". also, it was ericsson that coined the term "smartphone". get your shit right and dont say something is fact without even checking it

Nokia will be bought by Huawei.
Huawei considers Windows as being "weak" so will drop it.
That's my prediction
