Before I start, if you haven't played The World Ends With You, you are missing out on one of the best DS games, its cheap on amazon, go order it then continue reading.  Now Square Enix where the hell is the sequel to The World Ends With You?  It got really high review scores and I know it didn't sell amazing, but I mean look at the game...its not like its busting high production values, so I have no doubt they at least turned a profit off of it.  It annoys me to no end that Square Enix has so many good IPs that they just let die.  After I saw the charcters from The World Ends With You in Kingdom Hearts DDD I thought for sure they were working on a sequel, but it turns out that was just a dead end.  I must have put 50+ hrs into the game because its that good.  What do you guys think, do you want a sequel and what are some other IPs that Square Enix let die that you want back?

Yeah this game is amazing . I actually bought it after I played Kingdom Hearts DDD, cuz from the looks of the characters the game seemed cool. I think Square enix should really make a sequel for the N3DS.

I could never play it for long but i think TWETY was ok and i did like to see the characters on KH3D.

I think it might be made, but not for another while. Nomura has his hands full with FFXV and KH3 now. Maybe after FFXV releases he can take on the project. Then again he did say there would be multiple sequals to FFXV... meh it doesnt look like its gonna happen anytime soon unless a different team makes it. Actually... the KH team after they are done with KH3 is the best bet.

Seems like you're gonna have to wait quite a bit. But, on the bright side you will get to play KH3. ;)

Hell yes, I want a sequel. TWEWY was that one special game that finally won me back to DS gaming after being disheartened by the theft of my first DS Lite. Every aspect of the game I found incredibly compelling: the art style, the combat system, the modern place setting, the storyline, and that gorgeous soundtrack. It's extra impressive considering the game was mostly developed so early in the DS's lifespan.

I put over 200 hours into that thing (not to mention walking around in mingle mode, a.k.a. proto-StreetPass) and collected and mastered every single last pin.

This game deserves a sequel. Square Enix is sitting on a ton of good JRPG titles and it seems they have no love for them anymore. :(

Would really like to see a sequel... but I figure with the way things are at Square Enix, it would just wind up being a free 2 play game for mobile devices.

I do not understand people asking for sequel. Guys, most of the time sequels are shit when it comes from big studios.

I really liked TWEWY, and the game does not need a sequel. All he needed was a remake and it was perfectly done on IOS. Just let the game be.

Tetsuya Nomura rarely disappoints, if he was in charge of a sequel I have no doubt it would be better than the first.
