1. My beef is with the limited understanding of reality by the game developers. The young girl in the gamee, Ellie is obscene, and disrespectful of her elders.
2. And for somee reason, with next to no experience in life she is somehow endowed with a deeper understanding of life than Joel, the adult.
3. An adult female at the beginning of the game is extremely violent which is such an unrealistic portrayal of women. Do the game developers think that they are being 'progressive' by living in a delusion. What do you think?
4. Also, the game developers leave it up to Ellie, the young girl to decide whether there is a heaven or not. And of course she selfconfidentally says she doesn't think so. So according to the game deveelopers there is no point to life. Life is crap, we live and die, and that's it.
5. This is the shallowest, unthoughtful point of view that I can imagine. There is no rational reason to believe this point of view. And there is no reason given to support this nihilism.
Thanks for putting it in this format Jay520(?). Much easier to reply to.
1: I've been around girls younger than 10 who behave much worse than she does in better situations than she is in (not good situations but definitely better than an apocalypse type situation. And then a large number of people her age are definitely obscene. That's nothing unreasonable.
2: I honestly don't know much about this, haven't finished the game so no argument.
3: Fungus people are unrealistic portrayals of people (in our minds). In a world with zombies many people would be very violent. Women can be very violent now a days anyway. It's not always scratching and hair-pulling like in the movies.
4 & 5: I'm pretty sure half of Vg chartz believes this or something similar. While I don't, I know that believing in God is illogical, and that it is about faith. If you don't have faith (in something), then you believe you live and you die (generalized description.) Also, I don't want to turn this into a topic about religion but if you are Christian, then look at 1 Corinthians 1:18. I feel like it kind of goes along with this.
