My guess is they reveal 1 more holiday title, and maybe show gameplay of Freedom Wars.

Other than that, localizations.

They're not going to announce anything else for  Vita for the rest of this year, imo. At Gamescom last year they announced Tearaway and revealed Killzone; and we still haven't had either of those titles yet.

Vita will be what it'll be this year. And that's why their sales predictions were so low.

(I'd like to be surprised by something, though, but I just think it's far too late in the game for anything else to come this year).

GT6 new tracks and some surprise... I believe.

Some Vita games... please.

Big PS4 announces... I wanted.

Could be some good announcements @ Gamescon, a few PS4 + Vita exclusives? J

 We very consciously, at the event in New York on February 20 of this year, we showed a lot of software. We showed a lot of first-party software. What we did at E3 here was really show some updates to those games, and, as you mentioned, introduce The Order: 1886. There’s a lot coming. I’m sure you heard from [SCE Worldwide Studios boss] Shu [Yoshida] that he has—just his studios—he has 30 games in development. 20 of them are going to ship within the first year of the console’s life, and of those, 12 are new IP. So there’s a lot going on, it’s just that we need to keep stuff back. We’ve got Gamescom for us Europeans—we need to have something to show at Gamescom, don’t we?

thats what i believe as well. so its killzone in sep, tear away in oct and freedom fighters? 

They'll probably just show PS4 games running on Vita. T_T

Last year's gamescom was a lot better than E3 for PS fans. I believe they will announce 2~3 games there.

Freedom Wars is releasing in 2014.  In Japan.  I don't think we'll see it at Gamescom to be honest.

If anything, I'm expecting/hoping for whatever Bend are working on to be announced; plus another new game for Vita from a western first-party studio.  But neither of them for a 2013 release.

Yeah, the Vita might get a couple of major announcements at Gamescom but not for this year. I'm expecting a big TGS for the Vita, but again, with regards to next year.
