I am still sitting through this long as hell optional install.

I want this game... and a couple others... but but PS4 coming so soon... :-/

They all have something unique to offer. You miss something out when you ignore one.

I know, but there's to damn many of them for me to play them all and besides Warriors orochi series is basically like a musou all stars game.

I've actually never played a Dynasty Warriors game but have always wanted to. I actually made a list of my backlog yesterday and it's huge though. With PS4 preordered, I don't know that I'm going to get to it.

If I could only play one on PS3, which one should I play, and has anyone played the DW for Vita? Is it any good?

Some people are saying that 8 is the best yet. I'm still installing it (grrrrrrrrrr!) so I can't say about that, but 7 was awesome and it wouldn't be a misstep to start there.

DW Next is very impressive in terms of graphics and how close it comes to delivering a console quality experience on a handheld, but some of the Vita-specific controls are shoehorned into the game in some really, really annoying ways. I don't think I would have wanted it to be my first Dynasty Warriors.

I will get around to it, when is Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate coming out in NA?

No release date yet but it probably isn't getting dubbed so not long after japan.
