Your title is misleading. I thought this thread was about new games that were announced for the Wii U.

On topic, I guess that is a good idea (arent Sony doing something similar with the Vita?). Guess we will have to see how successful it is.

Anything that makes it easier for 3rd parties is a good thing

Just put some effort into Virtual Console releases. SERIOUSLY, how hard can it be to port games to it!? heck, give me a bunch of Gamecube games please :/ and maybe don't take weeks at a time to release a game for it.

I mean, what the heck? anyone have some theories on why it takes so long to get so few games that should easily be able to run no the Wii U?

Games sell consoles...
Nintendo sells well during the holiday season, they have some heavy hitting exclusives this fall/winter. Wii U will pick up this holiday.
