I am not 100% sure if that will happen but I do believe it is possible. At the very least I expect the next gen version (PS4,X1,PC) of BF4 to outsell the nextgen COD by a decent margin.
However I also expect the 360/PS3 casuals to stick more with COD.
Prediction for console Lifetime sales:
Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.
