Why are you using the 92'720 number? Is Media Create more trustworthy compared to Famitsu?

He said he was going to use it earlier before the numbers came out. And it generally is, at the end of the year I think we get a Mediacreate top 500 or 1000. While Famitsu I assume does not release numbers like that.

I didn't see where he said he'd use Media Create. Was that in the OP?

Not in the OP, but refer to page 9 of this thread.

Being # in tsutaya charts during a slow period for games is no garuntee of x amount of sales, if sales of everything else are low it doesnt take much to be on top, as such waiting for actual figures is the only way to know for sure.

How about you use your head and actually look at the previous weeks' numbers and then look at the chart again and see how ridiculous your guess is.

So by saying "speculation is silly we should wait for solid numbers" im not using my head?

By knowing we had a national holiday on monday and tsutaya was closed (one less day of sale) as I actually LIVE here in japan, I am not using my head?

Yes my estimation is low, too low for it to be anywhere near accurate but its no more wrong than those that estimated 150k or higher and I dont see you telling them to use their head, do I? because a high estimation (despite being even MORE off the mark than my prediction) doesnt sting that backside does it.

I was referencing your low prediction, because if you look at the sales # for the week prior, you will see that certain games were sustaining a relatively leveled amount of sales.  Sales that were 20k or higher.  Pikmin was higher than that, as well as a few other titles.  I say to use your head because there was absolutely no way sales could have been 27k given the context for hte other games.
Saying 150k is more likely because there wasn't irrefutable evidence to say it wasn't that high, regardless of it being unlikely.  Yours was an outright impossibly low number that solid numbers weren't even necessary to tell.

Also, living in Japan has nothing to do with anything here.  Just because you live somewhere doesn't mean you have any idea about what goes on.  There are hundreds of videos showing how little Americans know about what's going on in their own country but act like they do.

To be honest i still dont see it, despite its already thursday.

And come on ... I got the Famitsu number - i deserve a few extra coins ;) ^^

Maybe you can consider the amount of coins everyone would have received by Famitsu and MC and make an average of that. ;)

Famitsu 102 --> 10 coins for me

MC 92 --> 9 coins for me

Total: 19 coins/2 = 9,5 coins = rounded 10 Points. ^^

deal? ;) :D
