Forums - General - Anyone know a good internet radio station that plays classics for babies?

Anyone? I'm looking for strictly calm classicals, no wild overtures and such. No ads would be nice too. Thanks :)

I recommend trying a couple of these out. Classical for Studying really shouldn't be too intense. Classical Solo Piano also ought to be pretty relaxed, but you never know. Just listen to one for a while to make sure there isn't anything outrageous.

Oof, is that so? Man, is that dumb. I'm sorry.

I don't know any other radio stations, but we get a tv channel called Light Classical here that we listen to during dinner. It would be exactly what you're looking for if it was online.

I want :( I have tracks but I want a radio station so that it'll just keep playing random stuff nonstop

Are you in fact planning to have it playing for a baby? I don't think there's much benefit to that, despite the myth that it makes baby geniouses.

I am playing it for the baby sitting next to me. :)

well, I don't really believe that it turns babies into geniuses. However, relaxing music does make babies sleep longer, with less fits, and makes them want to eat/drink more. This is the actual thing that has scientific basis. Thus, if the baby sleeps, eats, and drinks more, it is able to get into a better mood, and thus it has more time to be able to absorb information better.

It's like when we study, it's scientifically proven that a little background music is able to stimulate our minds to absorb information better. Music doesn't make us smarter, but it puts us in a better mood to study.
