Forums - Nintendo - How long have you played your Wii U?

I'll have to check my log when I get home, I've never looked at it. I know I've used it a lot, with 150hrs put in on Xenoblade, a pile of COD time and some NSMBU. I've played other games too, just not as much. The web browser and youtube have have had a tonne of use, having a touchscreen for web browsing on a console is awesome. Also great for passing around a party and picking songs on YouTube when the ladies are drinkin.

And I still don't know why people think the Gamepad is not a step ahead in the right generation.

I think the 3DS's Daily Log app is better than WiiU's because you can filter and sort everything and it gives more info per game/app, but here's mine (if you can also do the same on WiiU as on 3DS, I haven't found it and please enlighten me ):

New Super Mario Bros. 25:51 - 18 times
Nintendoland 16:40 - 10 times
ZombiU 08:32 - 5 times

Super Metroid 19:34 - 11 times
Punch-Out!! 00:25 - 1 time
Kirby's Adventure 00:14 - 1 time
F-Zero 00:13 - 1 time

Miiverse 13:40 - 63 times
Internet Browser 13:24 - 25 times
eShop 04:35 - 22 times
YouTube 00:37 - 2 times
Wii Street U 00:27 - 3 times
Mii-Maker 00:07 - 1 time

I have only three WiiU games, and haven't completed any of them. I am right before the final world in Super Mario though. I only got the Famicom promotion Virtual Console games, completed Super Metroid (80-ish % collected) but only briefly played the others once. Haven't played Mario & Yoshi yet and missed out on Balloon Fight. Also haven't used my WiiU for Wii games, as my Wii is also stil hooked up to a TV. Internet browsing, YouTube and the like I usually only do on a PC and TVii sadly isn't supported yet in Europe. I like Miiverse though, it's actually the only social network I can agree with .

It's a great step forward, and makes my Wii U feel like it is much more advanced than my 360.  I think some would rather the cost of making the Gamepad be spent on more processing power, or saved to make the system cheaper, but I don't know if that's the case.  I like it.

agreed...I like using the stylus to type in what I need to search for.  MosDef a step up to my online experience with my 360s if I must say.

I mainly use mind for browser since I don't have a computer in the basement, though the browser been acting up lately. Just sold my last Wii U game today for Kingdom Hearts 3D.

how cool would it be if ps3 recorded all your hours on each thing like this. Hopefully ps4 does

I know right.

I believe ps3 doesn't do this because it's against sony's policies. That's why raptr and stuff doesn't count hours

ive spent Tons of hours on my WiiU. checking the hours played reminds me of steam... wow ive spent alot of time on TF2 o.O (300 hours)

'Video games are bad for you? That's what they said about rock-n-roll.'
-Shigeru Miyamoto

1) Call Of Duty BO2 - 59:17
2) New Super Mario Bros. U - 42:42
3) Lego City: Undercover - 38:52
4) Nintendo Land - 31:38
5) Just Dance 4 - 25:34
6) ZombiU - 5:20

Wow... that was a lot !

I can´t tell you how many hours I´ve been playing my WiiU, but I can say that I´ve been playing it a lot, and some of my family members play it regularly too. Due to some engagements, I play it mostly on weekends and occasionaly on weekdays, so far I´ve just beat the story mode of five of my games: Lego City Undercover, Call of Duty, ZombiU, Injustice and Mario (none of them 100% though, I did not finish the extra missions on Call of Duty nor the Survivor Mode on ZombiU.

I still have Monster Hunter, Assassins Creed 3, Fifa, Lego Batman, NintendoLand, Tekken and Sonic All-Stars Racing to play. As for Just Dance, my relatives did unlocked every extra stuff on it.

There´s actually some very good games to play on the WiiU, who says it is collecting dust actually  is not buying its best games or is not interested on them at all. I tell you that ZombiU, MH, Lego City and Mario are games that can consume many many hours of play for anyone who wants to beat them 100%
