Right now their "trophy" is miivere in that you can actually post your accomplishment on miiverse via a screenshot and some words/pic.
What they should do is expand miiverse to have the more normalized trophy/achievements you see in other consoles. Where your profile in miiverse automatically gets updated with some sort of nintendo centric badge or something.
For 3rd parties, it would be identical to other systems. For Nintendo stuff it could be 100% unique of course and could really make your profile something to admire.
Seems to me the back-end is essentially there and hopefully something Nintendo has already planned but yet to implement.
I like trophies but i don't think Nintendo needs to add anything like that, there games are fine as they are. I actually remember Nintendo comparing them to "dangling a Carrot" to get people to finish games.

yes, trophies, points or something similar. if people don't care they can play the game like before but i really like them and no clue why there isn't such a system for those who like it.
but i think there shouldn't be online trophies/achievements or only those which doesn't change how someone will play online. please no "shoot 100 people with the weapon which you find on this or that place so everyone will run there in multiplayer"
No, as much as I like achievements, it's nice to have a casual console which doesn't have them. Plus it would take forever to get them all in Smash Bros, and Mario Kart wouldn't be fun if we trophy hoarded.
I like in game achievements in Nintendo games, it's nice to have a non competetive break.
