Forums - Nintendo - Miyamoto Says His Brand New Franchise Is Keeping Him Busy

Guess it will be a NFC game.

That's actually not a bad point, it probably could be why Nintendo hasn't really used this feature yet, because they're waiting for this Miyamoto game to finish.

Technically, Nintendo does own (at least part of) the Fatal Frame franchise, but aside from a remake/port of Fatal Frame 2, Fatal Frame 4 on the Wii and the 3DS AR spin off Spirit Camera, they haven't done as much as a fan would hope with it.

True, but as you said, they basically ignore it. The remake of 2 and 4 both weren't released in the U.S and SC for 3DS just looks like an eShop-only game.

just a reminder. don't get your hopes up people.

I would however like if Miyamoto tried to make an FPS, or FPAdventure. be interesting to see his take on that genre...

Considering the fact that we're talking about the guy who single handedly saved gaming as we know it with his games, I'm excited

Please be anything targeting an older audience. It's really hard for me to get excited for games like Mario World and Pikmin when I feel I outgrew them a generation ago. Not to say they're bad, but they also aren't the kind of thing I personally enjoy that much.

A Nintendo horror game would be awesome. (I don't see them going past a T rating, so it would have to be REALLY cerebral. I'm a sucker for cerebral horror.) That, and now that Dead Space is probably spent, we could use another survival-horror series.

There are never enough RPGs. Ever.

Nintendo might actually make an FPS I would like.

Nintendo could also make an MMO that would be awesome.

Yeah, I'd say Nintendo could be up to all sorts of things I'd be excited about. Here's hoping they're doing something interesting.

Poor Takashi Tezuka. He never gets the credit he deserves.

He said "for the fans" so I doubt it.

He could mean "For the Wii Music Fans." Even though that wouldn't make much sense seeing as there are about two.
