(If the thread title is too rude, I'm happy to change it but I think it's close enough to the truth)
It seems here in the Uk, EA are the only ones to confirm game prices at the moment, whilst almost everyone have come out in the US and said their games will stay at $60, it seems EA wants to extend its policy of gouging UK folks from online to physical discs. EA have to told GAME their games will cost £54. That's £14 whole pounds more than what you'd normally get for your regular ps3 games.
Granted this is most likely a RRP (usually £45) I can't help but call unfair BS on this. The quote taken from an FAQ from GAME answering the question "How much will ps4 games cost?" They gave this answer
“At present, the only publisher to confirm costs of their next generation games are EA, attaching a price of £54.99. No other game prices have been confirmed. We will of course update our listings as and when this happens. And if the price changes before release day, you will always pay the lowest price.”
Though with all of this said. There is a chance that it's not only EA who will be doing this because when Sony was asked about prices, they were quick to say US will stay at $60 but failed to mention anywhere else. But as of now, only EA have said anything so...
Brace yourselves kiddies, this could get ugly. For the original story, go...
