Shouldnt the XBO be into the production phase by now?

Next month would be deadline.  We may also not be getting all of this information real-time but delayed by weeks.

@Heavenly_King

Tech people will not preorder this. The Xbox would still have the weaker GPU it has just 768 Shaders instead of 1152 and 16 ROPs instead of 32 and just 48 TMUs instead of 72 even with 1ghz clock and more DDR3 Ram this doesnt mean the Xboxone would have necessarily more power it just means the gap would be smaller.

The X1 has a 500Gb hard drive instead of putting more ram in it let us download as much as we want, I downloaded 20 Gb of rams a month ago

First, it's GB.  Giga Byte.  Gb is Giga bit.  You didn't download 20GB of RAMS.  RAM is Random Access Memory.  You downloaded 20GB of content that used 20GB of storage on your hard disk drive (HDD).  A HDD is not made up of RAM.  If you're going to talk about something, use the correct terminology and in the correct context.

On the Xbox One you can do the same.  When you're done using it, you can then delete it and download it again at a later date when you want it or attach an external HDD of your chosing, and copy the content to the external HDD so you don't have to download it again.  Likewise, if you're going to criticize something, make sure you're educated about it before possibly making irrelevant criticisms.

The Xbox One has a set amount of storage available to users internal within the box, but they have unlimited storage online and they have the ability to use any external USB HDD or USB memory stick to store archival content on.

You do realize that Microsoft has never released specs on the GPU.  We have no idea what Microsoft has.  Based on much of what we've heard it seems that no two devkits could actually be the same.  Or if they are, there may be sets of devkits with different hardware features.  If anything of this rumor is to be believed, it is that the hardware for the Xbox One right now is still very fluid.

If this is true, can X1 stand up to:

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Note: If true this would give developers 9GB of RAM for games for the Xbox One.  They did the same thing last time, doubling the RAM of the Xbox 360 to 512mb shortly before launch.

As of right now current Xbox One devkits are running with 12 GB of RAM and the reason for the idea behind a upclock is that the Xbox One is running cooler or using less power than was planned and they can now allow for a stable upclock.  This is only speculation on why this rumor could end up being true and backing up what the insider sources have said, as a reminder the Xbox 360 originally was being built with 256 MB of RAM but late in the development Microsoft decided to use the 512 MB of RAM from devkits.

The Xbox 360's change from 256mb to 512mb of RAM was made prior to E3 2005. Apparently Cliffy B had a lot to do with it. MS is too late in the research and development phase to give this rumor much credence. As it is 5GB of RAM for developers to use is a big step up. It would always be nice if there were more, but MS (like Sony) had to make sacrafices in order to meet their overall dirrection.

LOL. This is a ridiculous rumor.

Assuming this was true, this would mean a delay in the launch of the console. I would Microsoft would try to avoid that.
