A price drop to $199 and cut the costs of the memory cards, also exclusive games in these series, Grand Theft Auto, Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, God of War. Basically the games that sold the PSP.

You missed the one that will save it. Sonys continued support for it, particularly with PS4 integration.
Well I think the Vita is dead and gone. I gave it a chance and currently have no reason to own one. I will probably be selling it soon before it value diminishes even more.
More games, price cut and standard bundle with at least 8GB memory card. Obviously it won't reach 3DS, but the first vital goal for it is to sell a decent amount of HW and SW and end up being profitable lifetime, Pindaric flights about impossible or unlikely goals can't be good and viable business plans.
