I tried it last night and got totally hooked.

A question though. I have tried to play with either option turned on or off, the option where you decide over the stats of new recruits. But neither option has let me tweak any of soldiers' stats or skills so far (xcept when the skill tree branches).

I realized again that I love turn based strategy.

Question. Am I screwed if several continents panic and decide to leave the council?

Help me somebody. Is there any idea to continue if I lost several countries/continents from the council?

Also I chose hard difficulty with the save function turned off.

I'm playing missions where some enemies have 10HP and all my soldiers are dying. I have only rookies on my team. Should I restart?

EDIT: it settled itself, I just died since too many countries left the council.

I just finished it. What a great game. So addictive and fun.

I beated it on classic difficulty but had to turn off the "Iron will" difficulty thing which unables you to load old saves. It was just too hard with Iron will and even without it I had to "cheat" by constantly re-loading games when I simply lost too many men in battles.

And then imagine there is an even harder difficulty level. I can't believe how impossibly hard that would be. Also it's really hard to Platinum this game.

It was so nice to finally play a truly challenging game again.
