the shooting mechanics look exactly like max payne. im loving that. genuinely interested in this game now

looks great and i am sure it will be hours and tons of fun, i just not sure about the swapping between characters in missions, sounds like it might be a pain in the ass. i dont like games like that normally either, but i will find out.

You don't like swapping characters normally because it's not smooth or just don't like that type of stuff in general?  GTAV's character swapping in missions looks seamless and swapping outside of missions looks pretty quick as well.

Well they really didn't show us anything important that we didn't know. I guess I should have expected this from a Rockstar trailer this early from release. The one thing I really like is the supposedly more responsive and smooth character movement and shooting mechanics, as opposed to the slow and clunkiness of GTAIV. I expect I'll waste many hours in GTA online free roam, just like I did with GTA4.

i am not wild about that type of gameplay. I am not judging it, i will be buying it as soon as it comes out, i am sleptical of the AI when you switch. i hate babysitting.

Fair enough. I do understand what you mean though.  Hopefully it works amazing when we get to play it.

AI has improved so much over the past few years, so I am optimistic. Especially because Rockstar has prooven that the has fantastic AI with Max Payne 3
