Forums - Sony - First Impressions: Could the PS4 Controller Be Gaming's Greatest Ever Input Device?

IMO Wii U's pro controller has the best analog stick position. It's perfect cause of the way I hold a controller. Does it have a trigger?

No I'm pretty sure in my personal and biased opinion having a controller bigger than the console it's attached to makes it the worst controller.

Fixed. ;)

Look at the source lol. So I'll just say NO

http://www.explosion.com/38061/warframe-dev-praises-ps4-tech-says-dualshock-4-is-best-controller-yet/

Another source that feels that way too

Can we get an unbias source that has used both controllers.  If you go by the Eurogamer review of the controllers both do things that the other does not and it appears both offer what gamers want, fast response and a nice feel.  It looks like this gen, it will be based on personal preference as it always has been.  What I took from the eurogamer review is that MS made enhancements to the 360 controller and lost none of its feel, while Sony made ehancements all around which increase its feel from the Dualshock.

Just because someone praises one over the other, doesn't instantly make their view invalid, either.

When there is no comparison, then its just someone opinion with no basis.  From the article he just says its the best controller he has used so far.  Without knowing if he has used the X1 controller, it would be hard to take his word over anyone else.  In other other words, I rather get a ideal of how good one controller over another if a person had the opportunity to use both and determine their strengths and weaknesses.  I think we have plenty of people stating one thing is better than another without every trying the other product.

Sony really has not made huge changes to their controllers ever. It looks like the same controllers we've been using since the PS.

Is it only the fanboys that fail to see a lack in innovation?

Then ignore what he says. Simple solution.

I already did, which could be easily gleamed from what I stated.  I thougth this post was a indication of someone using both controllers and coming to a conclusion but instead its just an opinion piece with nothing more than one person saying they like the DualShock 4.  Its the reason I mentioned Eurogamer which has used both controllers and has a balance view of how each work for those people who actually care.  For people who are looking for confirmation that the Dualshock is a good controller then I guess this one man's opinion will be good to throw on the pile.

I Don't understand how people bump their thumbs on the dualshock. I mean how big are your hands!
And oh yeah I have no trouble using any type of controller. Seriously as some people already stated every gamer should be able to use any controller without any trouble, unless you have a psychical condition (small hands or broken or something).

When you ignore something, you don't continue to elaborate about it.

Then stop responding to my post.  It makes me think you are interested in my opinion.  If you are not you can just ignore it and then all will be fine.
