Honorable mentions: Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest

Unique! Not many people have played the Grandia/Breat of Fire series. I just got a couple games in each series, played a bit of all of them, really liked the mechanics of Breath of Fire. These are on my TDL, but a bit down as I want to finish everything 7th gen first. I might play BoF3 for PSP soon though.

My advice, keep checking old stock at ebgames.com. I have 5 copies now, holding on to them while prices skyrocket. I know it started at $80, and now I see the game sell for $120.

Had to go to 10, those 10 are real standouts out of all the JRPG's I have ever played. Mind you, I haven't played a lot of JRPG's, but I am building a collection.

Honorable Mentions (JRPG's I haven't played, but want to, and probably own). Skies of Arcadia, Chrono Cross, Breat of Fire, Grandia, Suikoden (I hear 2 is best, but people here like 3), Tactics Ogre, Shadow Hearts, and XenoGears....A lot, I know, but I own most of them, and plan to beat them while I wait for PS4/WiiU to build a good library (mainly waiting on X for WiiU).

Played FF, Tales of, Paper Mario, Baten Kaitos, and a few other franchises. They are good, but don't stand out IMO. Persona I hated....

Anyway, you also have Lost Odyssey, Valkyria Chronicles, Demon/Dark Souls,  Dragon's Dogma... and of course, Final Fantasy VI.


I never really got into Demon/Dark Souls, it seems like its gonna get me stressed out and rage lol.

Demon's Souls is actually pretty easy if you use the item duplication glitch.

I sell games on eBay, and I've been keeping track of this game to know when to sell my extra copies.

It usually sells for $120 with shipping, been going up steadily.

So KHF should buy it now because by christmas I see this game selling for $160 a unit easy.

Just looked closer at the game on gamestop even though its listed as new and used its not available.  Probably is a game I will never play its just too expensive.

Ya I feel the same, I'm hoping Nintendo puts it on their eshop, that is basically my only hope of ever playing the game, or by some miracle they print some more copies which I know will never happen, but I can still hope.
