I forgot about X. It looks absolutely amazing, definitely not lazy. I am afraid, however, that rumours about it being an MMO might turn out to be true. :(

What's wrong about being an MMO?

Nintendo and PC gamer

Around the Network

Nintendo gamers are hardcore, most of you Sony and Microsoft gamers Play two or three games and are as casual as they come, or are sheep and think it makes you look cool to your friends to own one of these systems, Nintendo was, is and always will be for true gamers, but graphics drones will never understand this, enjoy playing your lame FPS's ;)

I want to play as Peach and I want to wear a kitty suit. Nintendo can look into my soul! I considered them bought already =D

I much prefer single player and local multiplayer to online. I don't really like playing with strangers. Monster Hunter 3's about the only game I've really enjoyed online play with. Maybe I just don't like being surrounded by people better at the game than me, lulz.

I know it was Rol sarcasm, but I actually do hope Wind Waker HD and 3D World do poorly so we get a better 3D Mario and a non-Toon Zelda.

you are really hating on those games

I know, I know, I should be more restrained/mature. The disappointment just stings so damn much; the Galaxy games were nigh perfect, I wanted to be wowed like that again. And I want to be wowed by Zelda U too, like I was by Twilight Princess and Ocarina, I just get the feeling more and more that it's not going to happen. After 3D World I don't even want to get my hopes up in case I just get let down again. Nintendo really seems to be out of touch with what my brand of gamer wants for since 2010. (Except for Skyward Sword, loved that one)

It just feels like they're not trying anymore. With Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Twilight Princess & Skyward Sword, Xenoblade, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Metroid Prime 3, there was clearly a lot of effort put in. These newer games feel lazy by comparison.

I love you everyone is so quick to punish 3D World and every Game they showed at E3 Direct. 3D World. We saw 5 levels and everyone judges the game.

DK - we saw 3 levels and everyone judges the game.

Smash - still in development

X - still ind evelopment (also don't understand how you can say that X looks lazy compared to xenoblade)

Mario Kart 8 - looks fantastic

Aonouma kinda confirming Zelda U will have an open world again...

Don't know how you feel but I'm excited for this year.

Mario Kart looks awesome too, I agree, the anti-gravity is pretty cool.

Also, hypocrite that I am, I'm very pumped for Tropical Freeze, even though it seems to play it safe, since I loved DKCR so much.

Online Co-op =/= MMO

I really hope you're right. It makes me nervous that both trailers so far show no story elements but do confirm co-op play. I fear the worst.

Yes, the next Zelda will be cool.
However, Rol, I think that you and Nintendo are playing too safe these days, they should do this:
- Make a new I.P. a racer, like FZero, but new. It can be a Zero to Hero story where you start racing in a crappy pod/ship and slowlly improve it to go into the big leagues, get a sponsor, get better ships, etc,-call Louis C.K. to do the voiceovers.
- Make a NEW RPG like Earthbound, with a modern and fun setting, call Louis C.K. to do the voiceovers.
- New IP like Metroid, third person exploration in a gigantic cripitc solitaire planet, a veteran spaceship cargo pilot crashs in this inospit place and has to find a way to get out and repair the ship, call Louis C.K. to do the voiceovers.
-Make a Louis C.K. RPG.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

How can this freaking blonde elf in a green cap help "sticking it" to the hardcore?
OP is OP.

There is only 1 thing I want from Nintendo right now, a Star Fox game for the Wii U, just sit back and think for a second about the great integration they could do with the controller, it would be amazing.  If they made it I would buy the Wii U right away.

So hardcore games equals photo realistic graphics ? I guess Viewtiful Joe and Okami are also games that ''hardcore gamers'' should not play. What a narrow way of thinking about games. I hope OP was being sarcastic.

I think Wind Waker looks amazing and I will definitely buy what will come down in history as the best version of a great game.
