Sony didn't show much from the other studios because they would probably not be finished before Fall 2014 at the earliest.

Everthing MS showed was set to release this year or next year (with maybe the exception of Black Tusk's new IP).
Do you want another FF Versus XIII, Last Guardian, Agent, Eight Days or The Getaway to be shown just to have something to include in a list of upcoming exclusives ?
This isn't even including games that were "just" delayed for a few years after announcement.

Sony announced that 30 first party PS4 games were in development, they also noted that 20 of these would release in the PS4s first year, and that 12 of these were new IPs. Makes your entire point kind of moot, doesn't it? It's quite obvious that we'll most likely get to see a stronger presence from Sony at both Gamescom and TGS than from Microsoft.

Given Sony's track record of announcing games that were then delayed over a year I'd take anything they say with a pinch of salt...

Sony has an excellent track record the last FEW years, however, they are a different beast of a company than what they once were... You can see this in all of their divisions, not just SCE.

It matters, by having games MS was saved from being completely obliterated that day. Games matter and they showed them.

Makes me wonder what Sony has in store...

WiiU had the best exclusives IMO, how's that for a console some of you guys consider a faliure? lol

Sure, but when games are cancelled, they are generally replaced by another project, so that doesn't really matter.

Microsoft killed Sony in terms of games. If that whole DRM event hadn't happened, then Microsoft would be the apple of the gaming community's eye right now.

Last I checked Apple wasn't doing so well as of recently in terms of the public eye... You know, stagnated innovation and whatnot.

this entire thread is just pathetic, asking ourselves if games matter, nice.

In my Point of view Microsoft has to deliver on the game front because they were critisized much for that. With that beeing said how much of Content did they anounce this year (Halo 5) which was planned to anounce first in 2014? Thats the question. Have they any big guns for gamescom and tokio game Show?

Sure they can anounce an Fable 4 and Crackdown 3 but how much is left to anounce?

How many of Microsoft games get cancelled ?

I dont worry for sony any second they have enough Studios that havent anounce one game for PS4 yet

Naughty Dod Two Teams ( Uncharted 4, Last of Us 2)
Santa Monica Two Teams ( New IP, God of War 4)
Polyphony ( Gran Turismo 6 PS4 Version)
Media Molecule ( New IP)
Quantik Dream ( New IP)
Sucker Punch also Tow Teams ( what is Team 2 working on)
Team Ico ( The Last Guardian)
Sony San Diego ( MLB 14, Sport Game for Eye cam 2.0)
Cambridge ( Killzone Mercenary and whats after that)
Sony Bend ( Uncharted VIta, New IP for PS4)
Sony Japan ( Knack, Pupeteer, Freedom Wars, Gravity Rush 2, Rainyou see a big Team too which can handle more pS4 games at the same time)
Golden Sparrow ( New Network game)
Evolution ( Drive Club)

So is how can anybody be worry about sony delivering on the game front? Microsopft is the one who must proofe themselfs this gen with the games not Sony.
