Sony has the most powerful 7th gen system and has the most powerful next gen system.  PS3 has been steadily working its way towards Wii while PS4 looks to be in great position to outdo the WiiU and X1.  Of course having the most powerful system and leading a gen hasn't been done in recent memory has it?  Was the SNES the last to do this?  Was the NES more powerful than Master System?  Also how the hell did they get it to be $100 cheaper when even packing in a camera would only make it $450 (they would swallow $10 if they were bundling it)?

hmm "Something new" would depend on games... maybe they'll finally create the xcore move game I've been waiting for...

Neo Geo was more powerful than the SNES.  Master System was more powerful than NES.  The most powerful system has never been the top sales leader for home console systems or hand helds.

The most powerful system has always been the most expensive, ps4 isnt the most expensive. Thats the small key difference.

Yep, price is usually the main factor causing the most powerful systems to not sell as much (along with compelling software).  So the PS4 probably has the best chance to become the first most powerful system to be sales leader.  I don't think the PS3 will overtake the Wii but only time will tell.

Well i wasnt really directing it to the op, it was for the people who assume Ps4 wil win and there are a lot of them on this site. Should have been more clear my bad.
