Yup, this was inevitable. Same has happened in the UK as well.

Nice article. Congrats to MS achievement in this generation although the WW sales is standing the 3rd place now. MS really need to push more in EMEA market by the new generation.

Anyway, I think the lifetime sales of each console is outdated.

And people need to stop saying "Japan is irrelevant" for MS. Look at MC weekly sales chart, X360 is nearly 9million behind PS3. This 9million gap plays a great role to narrow the WW sales gap between 360 and PS3. If 360 can be sold at least 4 million there, the story might be changed today.

I wonder if the Wii can push out a respectable amount of units this holiday. I really think Nintendo went the wrong way with the Wii Mini.... instead of taking online out they should have emphasized it and added HD output. So many people use it to stream web content they should have made it into a Roku that can play Mario games.
