https://www.dsogaming.com/news/six-days-in-fallujah-has-been-delayed-until-q4-2022/
Six Days in Fallujah was originally targeting a 2021 release on PC. However, Victura and Highwire Games have just announced that the game has been delayed until Q4 2022.

What's the record for longest development cycle? This thing has been in the works for well over a decade, now...

Activision reportedly says ‘no evidence’ means zero-tolerance policy can’t be applied to CEO Bobby Kotick

https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/activision-reportedly-says-no-evidence-means-zero-tolerance-policy-cant-be-applied-to-ceo-bobby-kotick/

This company...

That can't be fucking real, they were shredding evidence and there's whistle blowers fucking everywhere and a dead employee.

Like come the fuck on, this is cartoon levels of stupid shit.

Watch this guy somehow walk away from all of this, or step down "willingly out of his heart".

Their policy seems to be... Zero-Tolerance only if you get caught by the media... Unless you are the CEO, then erase all evidence and have all the tolerance.

At this rate, I feel like the only way we are gonna get results is to really piss off the share holders. If Sony for example were to say, we will no longer be selling Activision games until this gets sorted out and MS follows suite, then Bobby will be Outty in no time. But until they, Activision is gonna keep moving their goal posts.

Meh visually sure there are some improvements, especially to the colors but overall just feels very meh. Certainly no where near the wow factor that I got from Cyberpunk/Ratchet/Forza Horizon 5.

We will see how it ends up being but man, if it wasn't for gamepass, I probably would be skipping.

It always had a meh feel to me tbh. I haven't really been into halo since 4, and they used Ensemble to make Halo Wars and then killed that studio, which pissed me off and gave me a slight negative look towards the franchise as a whole.

I'm not likely to nab this anytime soon though, maybe next year if it ever gets discounted to around £25ish (unlikely, but if it goes that low it'll be something).

I just realised that nothing from MS 1st or 2nd party wise hasn't interested me at all this year. Forza isn't my cup of tea (I'm more of a burnout fan and I really just wanted devs to put focus on a Paradise style world and motion), Age of Empires IV turned out not so great and still didn't get the changes I was hoping for, and Halo just feels meh to me.

Not even sure I'll be into the new zombie title they have Undead Labs working on, because their previous sequel didn't grab me either (and that also had it's issues).

Oddly enough, Sony feels like the only one of the 3 that's got something I want and have bought (Nabbed Days Gone and HZD, wanting GoW as well and maybe even Nathan Drake collection), Nintendo just isn't doing it for me anymore (their recent AC update feels like shit that should have been there a year ago), and I'm down to just waiting on Zelda and that's about it (stopped bothering with Pokemon, since they are taking it into a different direction and don't care for the OG fans anymore).

Wait a moment. Who died? I remember posting about death thread to an employee, but I don't recall any deaths.

I'm not sure if the game has been in active development since it was first announced. It looked like it was cancelled after a while and then they picked the development again last year or so.

As for other games taking this long, there Duke Nukem Forever, of course, and The Last Guardian also took its time. Star Citizen has also been around for a while.

Guys, there's one thing I have to announce you:

There is a chance that next month I won't be able to post for roughly a couple of weeks. It's a work related thing and while it's likely, it's still not 100% confirmed yet. If this ends being confirmed, that will mean two things: 1) I won't be able to post the news, obviously; and 2) I won't be around here to take care of the Secret Santa thread.

The first one isn't really that much of a problem (and sometimes, in days like today, I wonder how many of you actually read them), but the second one could be more problematic because, with Raven and noname not coming as much as they used to do, I don't know who could take care of it... specially given that I asked if anyone was interested in doing it last week and no one said anything.

But well, the plans will be confirmed sometime next week so we'll see what happens then.

Yea work certainly comes first. I generally don't have time to manage threads so it's why I don't host things. I do also skim through your news articles.

AMD GPU owners can now use NVIDIA’s Image Scaling Tech (NIS)
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/amd-gpu-owners-can-now-use-nvidias-image-scaling-tech-nis/
A few days ago, we informed you about the new algorithm for NVIDIA’s Image Scaling tech, NIS. This tech was available to all NVIDIA owners and according to the green team, it produces better results than AMD’s FSR. So, good news everyone as AMD GPU owners can now use NVIDIA’s tech via Lossless Scaling 1.6.
For those unaware, the primary focus of Lossless Scaling is to make a game window borderless and scales it to fullscreen using integer multipliers. As such, the output image maintains its original clarity and integrity. This is ideal for playing emulators. Additionally, players can enable fullscreen anti-aliasing in the app even if the game has no such option.
Its latest version, version 1.6.0, though adds support for NVIDIA Image Scaling. By using Lossless Scaling, everyone can use NVIDIA’s tech. And yes, this includes AMD GPU owners.
>> The problem is that Lossless Scaling isn't free but, because it's on Steam, you can get it fairly cheap during one of the sales.
